Turfgrass will also take up the majority of the fertilizer applied to it, as long as it is applied correctly. Your turfgrass will be fed small amounts of nutrients more frequently to minimize nonpoint source pollution and produce healthy stress tolerant turfgrass. Nutritional deficiencies can affect turf color and growth, in addition to inhibiting the grass’ ability to tolerate and compete with weeds, diseases and insects.
